Reiki 1 Training

REIKI (”ray-key”) is a Japanese healing technique used to transmit energy through the hands to reduce stress & promote relaxation while allowing the body’s natural healing process to occur.

In this two day REIKI 1 Training, you will receive the First Degree attunement to channel Reiki energy and learn how to give full Reiki treatments to yourself and others.  Learn both the history and intent of Reiki which is at the core of this natural healing system.

REIKI 1 is a highly transformative workshop where you will :

*Become more aware of your own “life force energy”

*Learn how Reiki can help yourself and others

*Practice giving and receiving Reiki energy

*Learn about starting a healing Reiki practice or incorporating  Reiki into an existing one.

Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a light snack and water bottle.

Then during the session Christine will discuss what your goals are, prioritize what you want to achieve then assess the flow of energy (also known as chi) based on the construction of the home.You will leave with many fabulous ideas to lift the energy in your home! The Oneness Blessing (also known as Oneness Deeksha) is a non-denominational benediction. A unique and specific blessing. Intro to Belly Dance with a Veil

Learn the basics of using the veil as a prop in belly dance as well as techniques of dancing with a veil including how to hold the veil properly, turns, fun moves and having the veil become an extension of you while adding some basic belly dance moves.  Veil dancing is very sensual and elegant and is a great way to firm and tone your upper body.

You will need a veil for this workshop.  You can make one from 3 yards of hemmed fabric and it can be made of either chiffon or silk. Veils in most colors may be purchased from Tara for $25 and must be pre-ordered and pre-paid by Feb 28th if you wish to purchase one.

Moodlifting YogaDance

This class combines yoga and dance (free flow, trance dance, bhangra moves, martial art kicks, and more).  Don’t worry! Mimi will show you these easy movements.  It’s not about how good you dance, it’s about how much fun you can have in your “true self”.  Come move, groove and laugh while stretching and flowing.
