Amy teaches Mixed Level Slow Flow Yoga Tuesday mornings at 9:00 am. Amy began studying yoga during her second pregnancy. She was immediately drawn to the lightness in her body and heart that every practice brought. She delved deeper into her practice and Buddhist philosophy and became certified though the NESTA sport yoga program. Amy obtained her master’s degree in Exercise Physiology in 1996 and has been working in the health promotion field since then. She began teaching yoga in 2005. Amy especially enjoys working with new yoga student and watching them begin their yogic path, she gives individualized attention to each student, new or continuing, helping them become aware of how each pose helps to open their body and mind. Amy teaches Vinyasa style yoga with a deep connection to spirit, and teaches her students that all the answers they look for can be found within. Amy wants you to find your way back to your true nature of peace and contentment, this is always there despite the circumstances of your life, she will provide you with the tools to empower you to make healthy life choices and find more abundance in your life.
