Level 1 Yoga teaches beginners and continuing beginners a variety of yoga postures, breathing techniques (pranayama) and introduces some yogic philosophy along with clear instruction and assistance to help you create a foundation for a safe, healthy practice.
Mixed Level Yoga offers some pranayama (breathing techniques) along with a variety of poses (asanas) with modifications offered for beginners and options for more advanced students.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a core strengthening, vigorous practice, deeply connecting body and breath through flowing movements and longer held, increasingly more challenging poses
Gentle Yoga with Meditation
This gentle yoga class is great for all levels. It will include a different theme each week and special time for meditation. A perfect addition to add balance and peach in your life.
De-Stress, Restore and Rejuvenate
Join us for a gentle yoga class to get your week off to a good start. This class will use breath awareness, movement and meditation to bring you into greater balance and foster resilience for the biggest stressor of all, daily life! This practice will offer ideas on how to keep your yoga bliss flowing through the week. This class is appropriate for all levels.
Mixed Level Slow Flow Yoga
Mixed Level Slow Flow: This class will bring body, mind, heart and soul all to the mat. Many days we are all over the place, sometimes barely able to grasp our thoughts and actions. Through this yoga practice we can truly get deeper into all of it by moving thru a fluid flow that helps transition our bodies with continuous flow and breath to help us better understand what we need internally and physically. We will listen to all styles of music, while working deep within ourselves. Remember we all have the same “life stuff” going on -it just looks a little bit different than our neighbors mat-but coming together to work on it individually and as a group helps transform us all.
Yoga for a Happy Back
Does your back sometimes talk to you in ways that you wish it wouldn’t… with pain and tension? Whether you have chronic pain or just the occasional flare up, this class can help. You’ll learn ways to strengthen the entire core and spinal muscles to help support good, healthy posture along with safe, gentle ways to loosen the hips and hamstrings and release tension, which can sometimes be the real culprits for those pesky back problems. Each students’ individual concerns will be addressed as well as ways to use this practice in your daily life for a more relaxed mind and a stronger, happier back. This class is great for beginners and up. Please consult your physician if you have acute pain, recent trauma or a medical condition.
